Who is Daren?
Hi I’m Daren. I’ve spent most of my life living and working in Brighton, but moved to Chinnor in 2010.
I’ve had a passion and enthusiasm for fitness from a very early age. Lots of my family have suffered from heart problems, and I’ve been determined not to have the same problems.
I’ve spent the last twenty years involved in fitness in one shape or another. Over the last ten years, I have been driven much more toward boxing as well as strength and conditioning training. This delivers the best results and is a lot more fun than pounding a treadmill for hours on end!
From going on early morning runs on the beach, right through to cicruit and sparring sessions, I’ve spent a lot of time training with professional boxers. These guys work hard and get results. Although, playing the part of punchbag was not always fun! More recently, I’ve trained with mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters.
I love training, both myself and with others. Exercise shouldn’t feel like a chore, it should be fun and enjoyable. My sessions always adhere to this rule!
